How Does High Blood Pressure Cause Pedal Edema How Exactly Does High Blood Pressure Cause Kidney Failure?

How exactly does high blood pressure cause kidney failure? - how does high blood pressure cause pedal edema

I've heard that can cause kidney failure. How and why? What to do blood pressure, kidneys? I only know that our kidneys to filter toxins and if they are not properly disinfected can cause high blood pressure. but other then that I do not know.

The kidneys contain a part called the glomerulus, which part of the kidney filter consists of thousands of microscopic blood vessels and capillaries. If B / P is high and remains high for some time that undermine strains of these little blood vessels and damage to and the time before. So, if you have high blood pressure, based on B / P medicine to help to save the kidney or at least take this anymore.

Heres a link to a picture of structures inside the kidneys, the notice to all blood vessels, so great B / P damaged his kidneys.

Not so. The increase in diastolic pressure associated with renal failure is a symptom, not the cause of renal failure.

What really happens is that renal failure affects the ability to increase blood flow through the blood vessels in the kidneys, so has the greater resistance to flow. This increases the total resistance of the peripheral arteries, but since the cardiac output remains unchanged, will increase the product of two (CO x TPR). This is seen as an increase in diastolic pressure.

You see down a lot of "thumbs" rating for people to misunderstand the mechanism. Never mind, I'm not.

Equally important in blood pressure damages blood vessels in the brain and gives a blow, they are small and can damage delicate blood vessels in the kidneys and kidneys do not get they need oxygen to function --- is not damaged. When the kidneys, fluid extract of the blood vessels and increased fluid in the vessels will fail, the blood pressure increase dramatically again ..... Vicious cycle

I can not say exactly, but I can say about older people who were clients of mine. I had diabetes, kidney disease and high blood pressure, and be developed. To discuss his visits to 2x/wk dialysis. Then his speech proteins that digest actually boiled eggs. Not a good life, it swimming, etc. You talk to your doc and excerise help you avoid alcohol, get the B / P under control and healthy eating. Do not go there. They go fast.

Well, the blood pressure when it pumps blood is fast and if your kidneys can not handle, how fast you are overworked, trying to do and what not?
